In 2026, Latour became a Gothenburg Partner to Göteborgs Stadsmission. With Latour’s head office based in Gothenburg, this initiative is a natural part of a long-term commitment to the local community and to supporting the important work carried out for people in vulnerable situations in the city.
Göteborgs Stadsmission was founded in 1952 and is a non-profit, values-driven organization dedicated to upholding the equal worth of all people, regardless of their life situation.
They provide both emergency assistance and long-term support to individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty, and other vulnerable circumstances. Their activities include open meeting places for adults, children, and families, homework support, as well as various forms of guidance and counselling. In urgent situations, access to food and clothing is also available. Göteborgs Stadsmission operates several types of housing, offers employment support services, and runs multiple second-hand shops in and around Gothenburg.
